Sodim's SODISCAN-MWS is a capsule filter rod and cigarette analyzer whose speed and precision far exceed anything currently available on the market. The integrated MIDAS sensor checks the position and quality of capsules at speeds of up to 75 filter rods or cigarettes per minute, each containing one to twelve capsules. The monitoring system’s high inspection speed enables you to produce meaningful statistics showing the proportion of filters in a batch of capsule filter rods or cigarettes that contain damaged capsules or no capsule at all.
